I completed a doctoral degree in Psychology from the Professional School of Psychology in California. My earlier academic training includes an M.Phil. in Medical & Social Psychology (specialization in Clinical Psychology) and M.Sc. and B.Sc. degrees in Applied Psychology. I am currently pursuing an MBA at Northern Illinois University to expand my knowledge of organizational behavior.
Across more than 15 years of clinical, consulting, and leadership experience in the United States, Singapore, and India, I have worked in private clinics, nonprofit organizations, community settings, and healthcare-related environments. My earlier clinical work included supporting adults experiencing anxiety, mood concerns, relationship difficulties, life transitions, work-related stress, and personal-growth challenges. My training included Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Metacognitive Therapy, acceptance-and mindfulness-based approaches, psychodynamic and relational frameworks, Choice Theory Reality Therapy, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Schema Therapy, and group psychotherapy. These professional training and life experiences have strengthened my appreciation for how culture shapes communication, identity, collaboration, leadership, and belonging.
While this clinical foundation continues to inform how I understand human behavior, relationships, trust, and change, my current professional focus has expanded toward wellness-oriented initiatives. I am particularly interested in helping individuals build healthy habits, improve communication, and create practical systems that support both performance and well-being. I also completed a Wellness Coach certification through IAP Career College in 2024. This complements my current direction by helping individuals build sustainable habits around stress management, work-life balance, and overall well-being, without positioning my work as clinical treatment. I am comfortable communicating in English, Bengali, and Hindi.
Overall, I bring together clinical insight, behavioral science, and wellness coaching. My goal is to help individuals build stronger relationships, navigate change thoughtfully, and create places where people can contribute, grow, and succeed.
